Dar a mão

The "Dar a mão" project consists of adapting and 3D printing prosthetics for children without hands or forearms. The goal is to donate the prosthetic hands to children, between 3 and 12 years old, living in Portugal.

How did our story begin?

cronologia

How did we end up helping more children?

e-NABLE Portugal - Dar a Mão Reference Center is a group of volunteers who are making free 3D printed upper limbs for those in need.
However it is not just that, e-NABLE Portugal - Dar a Mão Reference Center is a community of Engineers, Physicians, Professors, Students and Parents who are eager to jump in and help to change lives by using their ideas and their 3D printers to develop devices that are not readily accessible to those in need.

What is the e-NABLE Community?

The e-NABLE is an online global community of “Digital Humanitarian” volunteers from all over the world who are using their 3D printers to make free and low-cost prosthetic upper limb devices for children in need. The open-source designs created by e-NABLE Volunteers help those who were born missing their upper limb (fingers, hands and arms) or who have lost them due some pathologie or accidents.
